On May 27, 2012, the Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, Inc. will be holding a Walk for Memories at Kenny’s Pond in St. John’s, NL. All proceeds for this event will go towards benefiting the 7,681 individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease in this province.
The Walk for Memories is one of the Alzheimer Society’s major events and this year the provincial office will be holding its 23rd Annual Walk for Memories. Many walks take place throughout the province to help in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease. The purpose of this event is to promote awareness and raise funds to support all the helpful programs and services provided by the Society.
We would love for you to consider being a part of our event by walking individually, as a team with your friends, family and/or coworkers, or organizing your own event! Participating in our event is easy and fun as we support you every step of the way! If you are not interested in this, we would like your consideration in making a donation to this event and help make it a huge success! Your contribution will provide help for today and hope for tomorrow.
