The Red Cross Service Centre requires full coverage of its reception area throughout the week. This person will be responsible with loaning of health equipment, receiving donations, answering inquiries from the general public, greet and respond to the needs and inquiries of walk-in clients, data entry, research projects, assist with fund development projects, clerical assistance as needed and other community events.
This position requires an organized, outgoing personality who is able to interact with other volunteers in a positive and supportive manner. Good mathematic and written skills are needed along with accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organizational skills are needed as well as excellent communications skills. A good knowledge of people and organizations in the local area would be an asset. Computer skills would be required.
