Duties

Easter Seals NL has a disability awareness program for school aged children called 'I Can Too!'. The program consists of a 45-60 minute presentation that includes a video, story book and use of dolls with adaptive equipment. We are in need of volunteers to give these presentations in schools throughout the metro St. John's and surrounding areas. Volunteers would be responsible for picking up and dropping of the program kit, giving a the presentation according to guidelines set forth by Easter Seals for each age group and for transportation to and from the presentation site (usually an elementary school).

Qualifications

Availability during school hours (9:00am-3:00pm)

Comfortable with public speaking and interaction with primary/elementary school children (grades K-6)
