The 8th Annual Central Region Volunteer Celebration - Sunday, April 22, 2012
A celebration of volunteers will take place in Central Newfoundland, at the Hotel Gander on Sunday, April 22. An annual event that has been taking place for 8 years now, and no doubt will be a fitting close to volunteer week celebrations.
Volunteers, people who work with volunteers, and those who would like to celebrate the work of community organizations are invited to attend.
Special Guests
The Honorable Nick McGrath, Minister responsible for the Volunteer and Non-Profit Sector (VNPS) will be attending the volunteer recognition event, along with Honorary Volunteer Week Chair, Ron Ellsworth, and CSC CEO, Penelope Rowe.
Again, the event will take place on Sunday, April 22, 2012, in the Hotel Gander, starting at 7:00pm.
There is no charge to attend and there will be entertainment, refreshments and prizes.
