CSC is looking for a new home!

The economic buzz in St. John’s is making life both exciting and challenging for numerous charitable and non profit organizations.  One of the spin-offs is that office space is at a premium and rental costs are increasing significantly. Some organizations are being displaced from premises they have been in for many years as landlords look to new opportunities for their properties.

The Community Sector Council Newfoundland and Labrador has received notice to vacate its office space on Newfoundland Drive. Other non profit organizations are also affected.  We are facing a significant challenge in locating suitable accommodation and that the prices they are facing for rental costs may be an increase of 100% per square foot.

CSC is putting out a call to property owners who may be willing to work with the organization and other groups to find suitable space at an affordable price. CSC requires about 3000 square feet for its programs and services. The organization needs to be reasonably centrally located and accessible.
