Welfare to Work

In 2003, the Community Services Council NL hosted a 3-day national forum, Welfare to Work: The Next Generation. Participants from across Canada and beyond, representing governments, academic institutions and community organizations, discussed future direction to influence the research and policy agenda regarding Welfare to Work programs. Forum topics included innovative and empowering approaches to employment, shifting community and policy cultures, and the social economy in Quebec.
