CSC gives presentation at pre-budget consultations
Priorities include advancing the community sector, reducing poverty and supporting families
CSC was pleased to give a presentation to the Honourable Tom Marshall, Minister of Finance and Treasury Board President and colleagues at the 2012 pre-budget consultations, currently taking place across the province. CSC's presentation focused on ways to advance the community sector, poverty reduction and supporting families through literacy and childcare initiatives.
Penelope Rowe, CSC CEO; Barbara Barry, CSC President; and Paul Shelley, Chair of the Vibrant Communities Leadership Team presented these priorities to Minister Marshall on behalf of the Community Sector Council Newfoundland and Labrador.
