Vibrant Communities

capaCITIES™ is a leadership course offered through Vibrant Communities St. John's. The course has 50 graduates to date. The Fall 2010 session finished up on November 13.

    IMGP1258It was a celebration of community spirit on November 13 as 23 individuals gathered at the St. Augustine’s Parish Hall for a graduation ceremony from the capaCITIES™ leadership program, sponsored by the Community Sector Council NL’s Vibrant Communities initiative.

  • CapaCITIES holds graduation ceremony for participants for fall session

    Graduates and supporters of the CapaCITIES courseOn December 7, the second session of the CapaCITIES leadership course wrapped up with a graduation ceremony. Led by Barry Green and sponsored by Vibrant Communities St. John's - the course included sessions on setting goals, developing leadership skills, improving health, working in a team, and celebrating personal successes.

    IMGP1258The capaCITIES™ course, sponsored by Vibrant Communities and West Heights Tenants Association, recently held a graduation ceremony for its first participants. The 12-week course developed skills in capacity building, teamwork and leadership for community leaders in Vibrant Neighbourhoods throughout St. John's.
