The Community Sector Council Newfoundland and Labrador together with the Volunteer Week 2012 Committee, have partnered with the Avalon Mall for Volunteer Connections - Make a Difference, starting Monday, April 16, until Saturday April 21, 2012 (11am to 5pm daily).
Volunteer Connections booths will be set up in the Avalon Mall for 6 days, offering nonprofit organizations and groups the opportunity to profile the work they do, and attract new interest from the community. It's also an opportunity for volunteers to learn about new organizations, new causes and new volunteer opportunities.
Get out to the Avalon Mall this week and see what's happening in the world of volunteers. It's a chance for organizations and volunteers alike to promote and demonstrate how working together can benefit each other, volunteers, organizations and the community.
