Volunteer Week Forms

The Community Sectori Council (CSC) Newfoundland and Labrador and the Volunteeri Week 2011 Committee, along with our Honourary Chair, Mary Walsh are encouraging everyone to make an effort to recognize and thank volunteers and to embrace this year’s theme, “Volunteers...Stars in the Community,” especially during Volunteer Week 2011, April 10-16.

Funding to Support your Volunteer Celebration/Recognition Event

With the kind support of the VOCM Cares Foundationi and Bell Aliant, we are able to offer $100 grants to 14+ organizations and/or communities to host an event to celebrate volunteerismi. Apply online.

Town Proclamation

The CSC and the Volunteer Week Committee, in partnership with Municipalities Newfoundland & Labrador, are encouraging town councils around the province to acknowledge Volunteer Week by signing a Proclamation Form (download PDF file above to obtain Proclamation form).

St. John's Annual Volunteer Recognition Night - April 10, 2011, C.L.B., Harvey Road, St. John's (7-9 p.m.)

You can register a volunteer(s) to be recognized at the event by submitting a registration form. Categories include individual, group, family, corporate and media. Apply online.

Volunteer Expo 2011...Discover Volunteering - April 11, 2011, Village Shoping Centre, Topsail Road, St. John's (10 a.m. - 5 p.m.)

This event is an opportunity for your group to promote itself and attract new interest from the community. Set up a booth at the Volunteer Expo and show the public what you’re all about and what you have to offer. Apply online.

Government House Reception - Wednesday, April 13, 2011 at 4 pm, Government House, Military Road, St. John's

In celebration of Volunteer Week, Honorary Patron for Volunteer Week 2011 in Newfoundland and Labrador, His Honour, Lieutenant Governor John C. Crosbie, PC, OC, ONL, QC and Her Honour, Jane Furneaux Crosbie will be hosting a reception.  Space is limited and will be filled on a first come basis by submitting a registration form.
