Young people in the Youth Are Volunteering program finished up 2010 with a bang as they continued to volunteer. On December 10th they took their cooking skills to the Jimmy Pratt Memorial Soup Kitchen (George Street United Church) to serve up hot meals. Working with other volunteers they prepared soup, took orders, poured coffee and chatted with a fine crowd of people who were looking for a warm place to rest and have a bite to eat.
